Just one-point separates Kitara FC, NEC FC, Mbarara City FC and Police FC in Uganda FUFA Big League
UGANDA - Kitara Football Club scooped a point away from Soroti City Football Club following a one-all draw to stay on top of the big league log. Patrick Kaddu gave the visitors a halftime lead before Lawrence Olaboro equalised for the hosts.
Mark Twinamatsiko’s side have now drawn their third game on the road with two defeats and a win while scoring just six and conceding eight times. Kitara FC netted on 44 minutes to take the lead through top scorer Kaddu from close range after the Soroti City Goal keeper Joshua Okwaput failed to deal with Moses Sseruyidde’s shot at goal.
Soroti City equalised through Lawrence Olaboro in the 49th minute .
Kitara FC missed chances with Abasi Kateregga, Paddy Muhumuza and Edison Agondeze all coming close.
Soroti City remain 15th on the log with 11 points after 13 matches while Kitara are top of the table with 27 points.
Both teams will return to action on Thursday 12th January 2023. Soroti City will travel to Luweero United while Kitara FC welcome Adjumani Town Council in Masindi.
