LUKWANGA, WAKISO DISTRICT — A new prize is set to raise the stakes in Ugandan mud wrestling as Kombat Street Wrestling Uganda (KSW UG) prepares to crown its first-ever champion

Founded in April 2026 in Lukwanga, Sentema, Wakiso District, KSW UG was established by Jallah Trophy, popularly known as "The Big Boy Business. The academy was created with a mission to discover, train and promote Ugandan wrestling talent while creating entertaining and competitive events for fans. Now, with the introduction of its championship belt, KSW UG is adding a new level of prestige and competition to its shows.

Each wrestler has developed a distinct personality and wrestling style, creating the potential for fierce matchups as competitors attempt to establish themselves as the first name engraved in KSW UG championship history.

For the wrestlers, the prize offers an opportunity to prove themselves. For fans, it introduces a championship storyline that could fuel new rivalries, alliances and memorable moments inside the mud.

From Local Talent to a Bigger Stage

KSW UG's championship comes at a time when the academy is attempting to build something much larger than individual wrestling matches.

Since its establishment, the organization has focused on providing a platform where aspiring wrestlers can develop their skills and entertain audiences while representing the talent found within Uganda's local communities. The academy combines athletic competition with personality and storytelling, giving its wrestlers the opportunity to create characters and rivalries that connect with fans. The introduction of the championship belt strengthens that vision by giving competitors a major prize to fight for and giving the promotion a central title around which future events can be built.

An Ambition Beyond Uganda

KSW UG's ambitions extend far beyond Ugandan soil. The organization hopes to introduce Ugandan mud wrestling to international audiences through high-quality wrestling shows, digital content and partnerships with established wrestling promotions and professional wrestlers around the world

The championship belt is an important part of the journey — a recognizable symbol of KSW UG and the wrestlers who rise to the top of its competition.

The Race to Become the First Champion

With the belt now in the picture, attention turns to the wrestlers who will compete for it. Will Alimu Kamese emerge victorious? Can Big Soldier overpower the competition? Will Delete surprise his opponents? Could founder and wrestler Jallah Trophy claim the championship himself? Or will Ashiraf Uganda or Asha the African Storm make history by becoming the first KSW UG Champion?

Those questions will only be answered when the wrestlers finally enter the mud

One thing, however, is already clear: KSW UG has given its competitors something significant to fight for.
