Heathens take on Kobs this weekend in a fierce encounter

KAMPALA - Defending Champions Heathens look to continue with winning ways when they faceoff with nemesis Kobs. This is after smashing former affiliate side Buffaloes 50-9 on Saturday at Kyadondo Rugby grounds.

Heathens had earlier a weekend before lost to Black Pirates in the opening match of 2023 Rugby Premier League season on Match Day 1. Against Buffalos, Heathens domnated their opponents from the word go and led 28-03 at half time. Heathens are now fourth on the table from eighth position after two matches while Kobs are top of the log.

According to Heathens Captain Micheal Wokorach, this win has given them motivation ahead of the game to ne played on 28th January 2023. In other games, Rhino suffered a second consecutive loss to Pirates 12-27.

Impis continue with their winning streak after two game days moving from fourth to third after beating Walukuba 18-11.
