As the race for the 2024/25 Startimes Uganda Premier League title reaches a boiling point, Lt. Gen. James Mugira, the Managing Director of NEC and the Patron of NEC FC, and number one 'Diehard' has delivered a powerful and inspirational message to the club ahead of their blockbuster clash with table-toppers Vipers SC. The much-anticipated encounter is set to be played under floodlights at 7 PM on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
NEC FC, who sit second on the log with 51 points—just two behind Vipers SC—will be gunning for a crucial win that could see them leapfrog their rivals and take a significant step toward clinching their maiden Uganda Premier League crown.
