Addressing the press shortly after picking her nomination forms from the NRM Secretariat in Kampala on Friday, Kyanika struck a unifying and empowering tone, calling on women across the country to rally together for a shared vision of inclusion, empowerment, and progress.
“This journey is not about me alone. It is about all of us women from the grassroots to the national level. It is about raising our voices, increasing our participation, and strengthening our role in national development,” she said.
With a message anchored in unity, mentorship, and service, Kyanika promised to champion results-driven leadership that reflects the values and aspirations of Ugandan women under the stewardship of the NRM.
She also commended the NRM leadership for providing a democratic platform for women to rise and take on meaningful leadership roles, noting that the party’s structures continue to offer hope and opportunity for transformation.
“Let’s walk together. Let’s build together. Let’s rise together. Because when women lead, nations thrive,” she added.
Her bid adds momentum to the upcoming NRM internal elections and has been met with enthusiasm from supporters who describe her as a committed mobilizer with a track record of grassroots engagement and women empowerment.
