Link Bus Places Mr. Tom Best Aliinde as New Head of Administration and Public Relations in Advance to Festive Season.

The management of Link Buses Uganda has made an announcement through a written letter by its Managing Director, Mr. Solomon Nsiimire, appointing Mr. Tom Best Aliinde as the new Head of Administration and Public Relations.

With effect from 1st December, the letter notes that a new role has been created in line with the company's reorganisation strategy aimed at improving service delivery.

It further states, “The Head of Administration & Public Relations will directly report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the Supervision and Coordination of all field operations to ensure that services at our Terminals, Parks, Offices and aboard buses are performed efficiently and professionally to improve customer experience. He will also be our company's Spokesperson.”

Under the new structure all their Terminal Managers and Section Managersor team leaders for both Kampala and Upcountry will directly report to the Head of Administration & Public Relations, it highlights.

The letter also further informs that in the coming days and months, management will be carrying out a comprehensive staff review or restructuring process aimed at aligning, rationalising and improving their field services in a more organised and coordinated way to address the current business needs or challenges while ensuring accountability.

“You are all accordingly requested to accord Mr. Tom Best Aliinde all the support he needs to smoothly carry out this new role as we embark on this phase of transformation,” it indicates.
