"The Lord has this time guided me to invite a category of people who can not afford day today needs, the poor and the needy to celebrate with them this day, " he noted

The Bishop said, the government together with religious institutes should now focus on the strategies where majority of Ugandans who have lost hope are empowered, so as to prevent the future crimes and insecurities as many street children that mature to adults engage in law breaking due to loss of hope .

"Government should focus on transferring street children to rehabilitation centers as some are drug addicts, taking them to children homes as a way of promoting security, more so it can be considered to be put into the budget for internal affairs as a security concerns." The Bishop explained.

Reflecting on the world bank decision to withdraw funding from Uganda, he indicated that it's high time Uganda minimizes corruption because the country has the capacity to fund itself in relation to its wealth ranging from natural resources, agriculture produce plus taxes collected, therefore proper management of funds is needed.
