Nekesa Represents NRM Secretariat at Don Bwana and Beatrice’s Grand Introduction Ceremony

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) National Treasurer, Hon. Ambassador Barbara Nekesa Oundo, represented the party Secretariat at a ceremony during which NRM Protocol Chief Don Bwana was formally introduced by his wife, Beatrice, in a gathering attended by party leaders, cadres and supporters.

The event brought together a large number of NRM supporters and provided an opportunity to recognise Don Bwana's role in the party's protocol arrangements, as well as celebrate the occasion with family members, friends and colleagues.

Hon. Ambassador Nekesa's presence at the function highlighted the participation of the NRM Secretariat in the ceremony and the importance attached to the various responsibilities undertaken by party officials in supporting the Movement's activities.

During the ceremony, Beatrice took centre stage as she formally introduced her husband, Don Bwana, to the gathering. The occasion combined the personal significance of the introduction with recognition of his responsibilities as the NRM's Protocol Chief.

Protocol plays an important role in the organisation of party functions, particularly in coordinating official proceedings, receiving dignitaries, managing seating arrangements and ensuring that events run according to established procedures.

Don Bwana's role is therefore closely associated with the coordination of official engagements and the orderly conduct of activities involving party leaders and other invited guests.

Nekesa's attendance also highlighted the involvement of senior party officials in events involving members of the NRM Secretariat and its wider organisational structures.

As National Treasurer, Nekesa is responsible for the party's financial affairs and has participated in various NRM activities, including engagements with grassroots leaders and party mobilisers.

Her participation in the ceremony brought together two distinct functions within the party's organisational structure: financial administration and protocol management.

The gathering also provided an opportunity for party members and supporters to interact with leaders and celebrate Don Bwana's formal introduction, with Beatrice playing a central role in the proceedings.
