ONC Media Relations Officer Continues to Rally Youth Participation in NRM, Reaffirms Bid for Central Region Vice Chairperson
The Media Relations Officer at the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Kyeswa Hakim has continued to rally Ugandan youths to actively engage in the ongoing National Resistance Movement (NRM) structure elections.
Writing at his Twitter Space on X (formerly Twitter), he emphasized the critical role of young people in shaping the future of the party.
“Dear NRM Members, especially our young people, now is the time to actively participate in the NRM structure elections,” he said. “By getting involved, we secure our place in shaping the future of our party and contribute to meaningful decision-making.”
Having already declared his intention to contest for the position of NRM Vice Chairperson for the Central Region, the ONC official reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment and grassroots mobilization, saying his message is part of a broader effort to inspire young people to rise into leadership.
“Let’s step up, engage, and lead. Together, we can strengthen the NRM from within,” he added.
His remarks have gained traction online, sparking increased conversation among young NRM supporters about the importance of participating in party leadership and decision-making processes.
With the NRM internal elections underway, his consistent advocacy for youth involvement, coupled with his own candidacy, positions him as a key figure in the party's next generation of leadership.
