Opio Abraham Cleared to Contest for Orungo County MP Seat in Amuria District

Opio Abraham has been officially nominated to contest for Member of Parliament representing Orungo County in Amuria District, marking a major step in the constituency’s evolving political landscape.

The nomination was confirmed on Monday at the NRM Secretariat in Kampala, where Opio successfully completed all requirements to join the race in the upcoming 2026 general elections.
