Gogonyo County Member of Parliament Hon. Orone Derrick has fulfilled one of the key commitments he made to his constituents during the 2026 election campaigns by providing tents and chairs to parishes across the constituency.

The items were handed over to representatives of the respective parishes at an activity held at 2:00pm today, marking a significant step towards addressing the challenges faced by communities when organising important social and cultural functions.

The initiative is intended to provide communities with essential equipment that can be used during burial ceremonies, weddings, introduction ceremonies, graduations, birthday celebrations and other community gatherings.
