President Sets to Celebrate his Birthday with Movement Artistes
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) party chairman and President of Uganda, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, is set to celebrate his 81st birthday with a grand concert dubbed “Oluwombo ku Birthday ya President.”
The celebration, organized by Emmanuel Nsereko Munamasaka, will take place on 15th September 2025 at Old Kampala Senior Secondary School starting at 10:00 a.m. The event is proudly supported by State House.
Speaking to the press ahead of the festivities, Munamasaka revealed that preparations are already at 99% completion, with everything in place to welcome the birthday celebrant himself, President Museveni, who will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
“This celebration is about honoring the life and leadership of Gen. Museveni, appreciating his achievements in securing peace and stability in Uganda, and recognizing his re-election as NRM party chairman and flag bearer for the 2026–2030 term,” Munamasaka noted.
He further confirmed that the event will feature performances from NRM artistes, free entrance for the public, and plenty of food and drinks for all attendees.
“This is not just a birthday celebration; it is a thanksgiving for the legacy of a leader who has ensured unity and peace in Uganda,” he added.
