Kanyanya Man Wins 3rd Electric Vehicle in City Tyres LingLong Draw.

In a remarkable twist of fate, Mr. Godfrey Kyeyune, a resident of Kanyanya in Kampala, has become the third lucky winner of an electric vehicle (EV) in the ongoing City Tyres LingLong promotion.
The second edition of the first draw of three which took place Thursday at the City Tyres offices on 6th Street in the Industrial Area, continues to make headlines for its generosity and focus on rewarding royal customers. This is one way of the corporate social responsibility according to Mr. Herbert Bashaasha the public Relations Officer City tyres Uganda.
This is a promotion aimed at giving back to community, it's not about making sales, he said. Ugandans take long to believe, however, with these electric vehicles saving money becomes a culture.
He added that they are also in contact with the ministry for works and transport and the URA to ensure that the charging points are located across Uganda. “In two to three years, we expect to have full infrastructure.”
Mr. Mugisha John Bosco, one of the first two winners witnessed the flexibility of the car and included that the Electric vehicles have a capacity to move 300km once fully charged and comes with all components that enable the charging process. The charging takes about 3-4 hours , but it requires discipline to maintain and patience while on the road.
Other winners and prizes included Mr. Eric Okot from Bombo with a free full vehicle service, Mr. Ibrahim Ssekajjugo from Bombo with a free fuel worth Ugx 100.000 and Ms. Nabisaalu Aisha from Bimbo with a free alignment and wheel balancing.
To enter the draw of winning free fuel or an electric vehicle, it is simple, one just have to buy two linglong tires from any of the city tyres branches across Uganda using cash or credit card and then participate.
