Uganda’s President Museveni Celebrated at CAF Awards for Elevating African Football

Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has been honoured with the prestigious CAF President’s Outstanding Achievement Award, a continental recognition celebrating exceptional commitment to the growth and development of African football. The award was presented during the 2025 CAF Awards ceremony in Rabat, Morocco, where the Confederation of African Football (CAF) celebrated distinguished leaders shaping the future of the sport across the continent.

President Museveni received the accolade alongside Kenya’s President William Ruto and Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
