Rotary District 9213 ushers in a new chapter of leadership with the installation of Rotarian Geoffrey Martin Kitakule as District Governor Elect (DGE) for the Rotary year 2025–2026. His tenure officially begins on 1st July 2025, marking a momentous milestone in his longstanding commitment to Rotary International and its ideals of Service Above Self.
Rtn. Kitakule’s rise to this esteemed position is not by chance. It is the result of a life lived in service, guided by values of integrity, compassion, accountability, and a deep passion for community transformation. His leadership style is both inclusive and visionary, built upon years of active engagement within the Rotary fraternity and a solid track record of impactful projects that have touched lives across Uganda and the wider District 9213. His Rotary journey reflects a blend of strategic thinking and grassroots involvement. From club service roles to district committees, and now to the pinnacle of district leadership, DGE Kitakule has shown consistent dedication and effectiveness. He is widely respected for his ability to listen, build consensus, and inspire others to act with purpose.
A Vision for Impact
As he prepares to take the reins from his predecessor, Rtn. Kitakule brings with him a bold vision to strengthen the foundation of Rotary’s impact in the district.

The announcement of his installation during a ceremony at the Civil Service College of Uganda in Jinja on April 12 2025 has been met with excitement and encouragement across the district.
