Hon. Amb. Barbara Nekesa Mobilizes Busia Residents in Support of President Museveni and NRM Agenda

Busia, Uganda — The National Resistance Movement (NRM) National Treasurer, Hon. Amb. Barbara Nekesa Oundo, engaged residents of Dabani Sub-county in Samia Bugwe North Constituency as part of ongoing nationwide mobilization efforts to popularize the NRM manifesto ahead of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s anticipated visit to Busia District.
During her interaction with local leaders and community members, Amb. Nekesa emphasized the government’s commitment to service delivery, wealth creation, and inclusive development. She highlighted key NRM achievements in infrastructure, education, and health, urging residents to remain steadfast in supporting the Movement’s vision of prosperity for all.
“The NRM government has consistently prioritized the wellbeing of every Ugandan. Through various programs such as the Parish Development Model and Emyooga, we are empowering households to transition from subsistence to commercial production,” Amb. Nekesa noted.
She called upon the people of Masafu, Dabani, and Lumino to rally behind President Museveni and all NRM flag bearers in the forthcoming general elections, stressing that unity and continued support are vital for sustaining the gains made under the current administration.
“President Museveni’s leadership has delivered peace, stability, and development. It is now our collective responsibility to build on this foundation and fast-track socio-economic transformation,” she added.
Amb. Nekesa’s engagement is part of a broader NRM mobilization campaign across the country aimed at strengthening grassroots structures and ensuring community participation in government programs ahead of the 2026 general elections.
