Hon. Orone Derrick Donates Brand New Coaster Bus to Gogonyo Constituents

Residents of Gogonyo Constituency in Pallisa District are celebrating after their Member of Parliament, Hon. Orone Derrick, popularly known as “Pallisa Bambata,” donated a brand new coaster bus to the community as part of his commitment to improving transport and supporting local development initiatives.

The newly acquired coaster bus, registration number UA 818CX, was officially handed over to the constituents amid excitement and praise from local leaders, youth groups, religious leaders, and residents who described the gesture as timely and transformational.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Hon. Orone Derrick thanked God for enabling him to fulfill the pledge he had previously made to the people of Gogonyo Constituency.

“I thank the Almighty God for giving me the strength, wisdom, and ability to fulfill the promise I made to my people. Leadership is about service, commitment, and honoring the trust that the people place in us,” Hon. Orone said.

The legislator noted that the coaster bus will help ease transportation challenges within the constituency and support various community activities including youth engagements, women group activities, church functions, education-related programs, and emergency community needs.
