Kitara Football Club has officially launched tickets for its highly anticipated CAF Confederation Cup return-leg encounter against Somalia’s Mogadishu City Club, with fans being urged to secure their tickets early ahead of Saturday’s continental showdown at Hoima City Stadium.
Kitara FC President Deo Kasozi Akiiki led the launch of the match tickets as the club intensified preparations for what promises to be another important night of continental football in Hoima.
The return leg is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 4:00pm at Hoima City Stadium, with Kitara FC looking to complete the job against Mogadishu City Club and progress in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Early-bird tickets available at UGX 15,000
As part of efforts to encourage supporters to turn up in large numbers, Kitara FC has introduced an early-bird physical ticket offer of UGX 15,000, down from the ordinary ticket price of UGX 20,000.
However, the special offer is only available today, Wednesday, September 9, from 7:00am to 1:00pm.
The club has emphasised that the UGX 15,000 early-bird tickets are physical tickets only and can be obtained from Kitara FC’s two designated offices.
Fans who miss the early-bird window will have to pay the standard UGX 20,000 for ordinary tickets, while VIP tickets are going for UGX 50,000.
The limited-time promotion is expected to give supporters an opportunity to secure their places at the stadium at a reduced price while also helping the club mobilise a strong home crowd.
Fans called upon to fill Hoima City Stadium
Kitara FC has appealed to its supporters and football lovers across the Bunyoro region to come out in large numbers and create an atmosphere that can inspire the players during the crucial continental fixture.
The club believes a strong home crowd could provide an important advantage as Kitara seeks to advance in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Supporters unable to access the physical early-bird tickets today can also purchase tickets online through the club's ticketing platform.
