Owobusobozi Bisaka, ONC Boss Hajjat Namyalo Join Thousands at Museveni Nomination Rally

Kololo Ceremonial Grounds roared to life by turning into a sea of yellow on Tuesday as thousands of National Resistance Movement (NRM) supporters thronged the venue to celebrate President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s official nomination for the 2026 elections.
Earlier in the day, the Electoral Commission, sitting at its headquarters in Lweza, had formally nominated the incumbent President as the NRM flagbearer, clearing the way for him to contest once again.
From Lweza, the President will proceed to Kololo, where jubilant crowds are already in full song and dance.
Among the distinguished figures in attendance is Owobusobozi Bisaka, the leader of the Faith of Unity, whose presence underscored the intersection of faith and politics in rallying national support.
Bisaka’s arrival was met with excitement, and he was later spotted exchanging warm greetings with Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, the head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC).
Their cheerful interaction reflected the celebratory mood of the day and the unity message at the heart of the NRM’s campaign.
The Kololo rally serves as both a show of strength and a signal of the President’s readiness to embark on yet another political journey.
Party leaders emphasize continuity, stability, and the defense of what they terme as “the gains of the Movement.”
