BUNGOKHO SOUTH – Member of Parliament for Bungokho South, Hon. Wokuri Geofrey, has extended material and moral support to Senior Six (S.6) candidates in selected schools across the constituency ahead of their final examinations, which commence on Monday, November 9, 2026.
The intervention, targeting candidates at Musiu Secondary School, Musese Secondary School and Mulatsi Secondary School, is intended to boost learners' morale, ease the burden on schools and parents, and enable candidates to concentrate on their examinations without unnecessary distractions.

As part of the initiative, each beneficiary school received 100 kilogrammes of rice, Shs100,000 and a special examination success card from the legislator, conveying his encouragement and best wishes to the candidates as they prepare to complete an important stage of their academic journey.
The support was warmly received by students and school administrators, who commended the legislator for remembering them at a critical moment in their education.
The candidates expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a timely source of motivation and reassurance. They pledged to remain disciplined, focused and committed to their studies, promising to translate the encouragement into good examination results.

At Mulatsi Secondary School, Head Teacher Mr. Samanya Peter welcomed the donation, praising Hon. Wokuri for his continued interest in promoting education and improving academic standards in Bungokho South.
Mr. Samanya observed that providing food support during the examination period would make a meaningful contribution to the welfare of candidates while reducing some of the financial pressure on parents and the school administration.
He noted that access to meals is an important aspect of learners' well-being, particularly during examinations, when candidates need to maintain concentration and remain mentally and physically prepared.
The head teacher further reaffirmed the school's commitment to working closely with Hon. Wokuri and other education stakeholders to strengthen academic performance and improve the quality of education across the constituency.
At Busiu and Musese Secondary Schools, the legislator's Personal Assistant, Herbert Musingo, delivered the support on his behalf and interacted with candidates and school administrators.
During the engagements, Musingo conveyed Hon. Wokuri's message of encouragement, urging the candidates to approach their examinations with confidence, discipline and determination.
He reminded the learners that their performance in the forthcoming examinations would play an important role in shaping their future academic and career opportunities, encouraging them not to allow fear or anxiety to undermine their preparations.
The students, in turn, thanked the legislator for the gesture, noting that such interventions inspire confidence among learners and demonstrate that their leaders recognise the importance of investing in the next generation.

Teachers from the beneficiary schools also welcomed the initiative, emphasising that supporting candidates with meals during examinations can improve their concentration, confidence and general welfare.
They called for stronger collaboration among political leaders, parents, school administrators and other education stakeholders to address challenges affecting learners and improve educational outcomes in Bungokho South.
Hon. Wokuri's intervention highlights the importance of supporting education through practical initiatives that directly benefit learners, complementing the broader efforts of schools and parents to provide an environment conducive to academic success.
Beyond the material assistance, the gesture carries a message of encouragement to candidates that their academic aspirations matter and that their community has confidence in their ability to succeed.
As the S.6 candidates prepare to sit their final examinations, Hon. Wokuri has wished all candidates across Bungokho South success, urging them to remain calm, confident and focused as they pursue their academic ambitions.
His message to the candidates is that the future of Bungokho South depends significantly on the quality of education and opportunities available to its young people, making investment in learners an important contribution to the constituency's long-term development.
"Bungokho South believes in you, your dreams matter and your future is worth investing in."
The initiative reflects the legislator's stated commitment to delivering solutions and restoring hope through interventions aimed at improving the welfare and opportunities of the people he represents.
