ASCENIFY UGANDA FIRES UP PROFESSIONALS AHEAD OF SWITCH CONFERENCE WITH LEADERSHIP WEBINAR

Ascenify Uganda has kicked off the build-up to its flagship SWITCH Conference 2026 with a high energy webinar themed "Take Charge," convening professionals, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders for a structured conversation on intentional leadership and personal transformation.

The online session, moderated by Beverley Nambozo Nsegiyunva, featured renowned leadership coach and speaker Dr. Peter Kimbowa as the headline guest, who challenged participants to interrogate their approach to personal development, mentorship, and career growth in a rapidly evolving professional landscape.

Central to Dr. Kimbowa's address was a practical framework he termed "The Power of 3," which urges individuals to deliberately evaluate the people they mentor, the books they consume, the learning platforms they engage with, and the relationships they invest in.

He stressed the importance of continuous growth through unlearning outdated habits, acquiring new skills, and cultivating meaningful connections.

"The sum total of a person is not what they are, but what they could become," Dr. Kimbowa told participants.

He further introduced what he called the "Magic of 3," anchored on Attitude, Ability, and Character as the essential pillars of effective and lasting leadership.

Participants were also confronted with a defining reflective question,"Who becomes better because you existed?"  a reminder, Dr. Kimbowa said, that taking charge is both a discipline and a deliberate personal decision.

The webinar is part of a series of engagements designed to build momentum ahead of The SWITCH Conference 2026, a curated leadership and networking platform that Ascenify Uganda will host on 26th June 2026 at Four Points by Sheraton Kampala.

Held under the theme "Networking for Success," the conference is expected to draw CEOs, senior executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across multiple sectors.

Lynda Nabayiinda, Lead Coach at Ascenify Uganda, said the pre-conference webinar series is deliberately designed to prepare attendees for deeper, more purposeful engagement at the main event.

"Growth begins with intentionality. Through these conversations, we are encouraging professionals to take charge of their leadership journey, build meaningful networks, and position themselves for long-term success," she said.

Phillipa Nanyondo Byamah, Managing Partner and Co-founder at Ascenify, added that the conference is conceived to move beyond transactional networking and foster a community built on shared growth and leadership development, offering structured opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and strategic partnerships.
