Hon. Eng. Dr. Mrs. Irene Nafuna Muloni, the Woman Member of Parliament for Bulambuli District and former Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, has officially started village to village campaigns, unveiling a bold and visionary development agenda in her bid to represent Elgon North County in Bulambuli District.

Under her plan, all major roads within the constituency — including critical feeder roads — will be constructed and upgraded to modern standards, complete with advanced drainage systems to curb flooding and landslides that frequently devastate the hilly terrain.

“We must ensure that Elgon North’s roads are resilient and efficient. Good infrastructure is the foundation of development,” she emphasized.

The hub will be supported by a National Enterprise Fund to provide startup capital, mentorship, and vocational training in key trades such as ICT, fashion design, mechanics, agribusiness, and creative arts.
