NRM Urges Party Members to Support Flag Bearers During LC I, Women Council Nomination Period
Effective today, July 15-19, LC 1 and Women Council candidates will be nominated by the Electoral Commission at all sub-counties and Divisions across the country.
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) has encouraged its flag bearers for the upcoming Local Council I (LC1) and Women Council elections to participate in the nomination exercise scheduled from July 15 to 19, 2026.
The nominations, conducted by the Electoral Commission, are taking place at all sub-counties and divisions across the country, marking a key step in the grassroots electoral process.
The party called upon all NRM candidates to use the opportunity to complete the required procedures and prepare for the forthcoming village-level elections as they seek to represent the Movement at the grassroots.
The NRM urged its supporters to remain active and participate in the electoral activities as the country prepares for the Local Council elections.
