Phaneroo Ministry Holds High-Impact Global Inter-University Conference in Kampala, Draws Tens of Thousands
Phaneroo Ministries international has staged one of Uganda's largest youth gatherings as it held the 4th Global Inter-University Conference, Saturday, in Kampala, attracting tens of thousands of students from universities and secondary institutions across Uganda and beyond.
Organised by Manifest Fellowship the ministry’s outreach arm the conference sought to equip students with spiritual grounding, moral clarity, and a sense of purpose at a time when young people face unprecedented pressures from digital culture, shifting values, and economic uncertainty.
Manifest Fellowship team leader Peter Turyasingura said the initiative targets higher institutions of learning with the aim of shaping a generation that is spiritually anchored and leadership-minded.
He noted that modern day parents increasingly struggle to guide their children due to technology and social distractions, making faith based mentorship essential.
The conference brought together renowned international speakers. Pastor Poju Oyemade, Senior Pastor and Founder of The Covenant Nation in Nigeria, delivered a strong message on the power of words, telling students that their tongues carry the ability to “create life or cause destruction” and urging them to speak hope and purpose into their future.
From the United States, Apostle James Chen challenged the youth to rise above the “spirit of religion,” warning that it limits personal transformation. He encouraged them to pursue intentional intimacy with God in order to discover who they were truly created to be.
Phaneroo Vision Bearer Apostle Grace Lubega rallied young people to take up their role as problem-solvers for their generation, urging them to serve God boldly and become the answers their communities are waiting for.
The conference featured a dynamic lineup of activities including intense worship sessions, prayer, preaching, and a talent showcase that highlighted creativity among the youth. Gospel artists such as Levixone added energy to the gathering, contributing to what many described as a deeply transformative experience.
Student leaders, including guild presidents from various institutions, graced the event signaling the conference’s growing reputation as a breeding ground for future leaders.
Organizers hailed the 2025 edition as one of the most powerful and impactful yet, cementing Phaneroo Ministry’s role in shaping spiritually grounded and purpose-driven young people across Uganda.
