Love Made Simple, Phaneroo to Wed 46 Couples in Grand Boutique Ceremony

Phaneroo Ministries International, under the leadership of Apostle Grace Lubega, has announced a groundbreaking “Boutique Mass Wedding” for Friday, that will unite forty-six couples in holy matrimony in a single, elegant ceremony designed to celebrate love, faith, and simplicity over extravagance.
Speaking during a press conference held Thursday at the Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru, Pastor Sam Muyinda, the Pastor in charge of the Marriage Department at Phaneroo Ministries, said the initiative aligns with the ministry’s core mission of fulfilling the Great Commission through teaching, baptizing, and strengthening families as God intended.
“Marriage is a sacred covenant before God. Unfortunately, many believers delay or avoid weddings due to financial pressures. This initiative emphasizes vows, not budgets,” Pastor Muyinda explained. “We want to make marriage attainable for every believer who desires to honor God.”
He revealed that couples participating in the mass wedding have undergone two months of intensive premarital counseling on key topics such as finances, temperaments, submission, priorities, and understanding God’s purpose for marriage.
The event introduces a unique “boutique wedding” concept a carefully planned yet intimate celebration where each couple enjoys a personalized experience within a collective ceremony.
Mrs. Phyllis Kyomuhendo Ainomugisha, CEO of Lotus Event Planners, whose company is organizing the event, described it as both humbling and spiritually rewarding.
“This is my first event of this nature,” she said. “Though I’ve handled large-scale functions before, this one feels deeply divine. It’s not just about décor or setup it’s about witnessing God’s hand in restoring the beauty and dignity of marriage.”
According to Mrs. Kyomuhendo, the setup features a 30x100-foot tent with decorations nearly complete ahead of the event. Each couple will be joined by ten family members, creating a warm, family-centered celebration.
Minister Roger Mugusha, Phaneroo’s Production Manager, emphasized that the Boutique Wedding underscores the ministry’s commitment to promoting godly unions.
“Many couples hesitate to make their union official before God because of costly ceremonies,” Mugusha said. “Apostle Grace’s vision is to simplify this process to help believers formalize their marriages with dignity and joy.”
He likened public marriage to a declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, noting that the event seeks to prevent the challenges that come with cohabitation and to build stronger Christian families.
Phaneroo Ministries plans to expand the initiative beyond its members in the future, allowing more couples to benefit from this faith-driven, cost-friendly approach to marriage.
As preparations continue, excitement grows among participants and the wider Christian community a clear sign that Phaneroo’s vision of restoring God-centered marriages is taking firm root in Uganda.
