Following an extended break after the conclusion of the first round of the 2024/25 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (UPL) season, Vipers SC is set to return to action on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, against URA FC at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

The encounter will mark the beginning of the second round of the campaign, where the Venoms are determined to extend their winning momentum as they push for the UPL title. Vipers SC enters the second round at the summit of the 16-team UPL table with 34 points, one point ahead of NEC FC after 15 games.

Meanwhile, URA FC, led by former Vipers tactician Alex Isabirye, sits in fifth place with 24 points, trailing the table leaders by 10 points.

Vipers ended the first round in style, securing dominant wins over Mbale Heroes (4-0), UPDF FC (1-0), and Maroons FC (1-0). On the other hand, URA FC concluded the first round with a narrow 1-0 win over Police FC.
