BUNGOKHO NORTH, Mbale -Bungokho North MP and Independent candidate for Member of Parliament in Bungokho North Constituency, Hon. Dr. John Faith Magolo, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the people of Bungokho North for their overwhelming support, love, and solidarity during his nomination as an Independent Candidate for the 2026–2031 Parliamentary race under the symbol Chair.

 

In his message of gratitude, Dr. Magolo described his nomination day as “a powerful reminder of the shared vision we hold for a better Bungokho North,” noting that the unity displayed by the people reflected their deep desire for progress and transformation.

“Your prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support made that day not just memorable, but a powerful reminder of the shared vision we hold for a better Bungokho North,” he said.

A Record of Service and Shared Achievements

Hon. Dr. Magolo used the moment to highlight some of the tangible achievements realized through collaboration with the community and various partners. His development agenda has focused on education, healthcare, infrastructure, and youth empowerment—pillars he believes are vital to uplifting livelihoods in the constituency.

Among the key shared achievements he cited include:

Improving Education Infrastructure: He spearheaded fundraising for Bufumbo Secondary School, roofing the A-Level block to create a safe and conducive learning environment. He also facilitated the school to acquire an A-Level Centre Number and pledged to provide a mattress to every student who passes in Division One.

 

Healthcare Development: Dr. Magolo organized a successful fundraising drive for the expansion of Wanale Health Centre III, completed and equipped Kilayi Health Centre II, and participated in purchasing land for the expansion of Budwale Health Centre III, all aimed at ensuring essential health services are accessible to the community.

Rural Electrification: Through active lobbying, electricity has been extended to several areas across Bungokho North, lighting up homes, schools, and businesses, and stimulating economic activity.

Education Access and Support: He successfully lobbied for the establishment of Kibembe Seed School in Bufumbo Sub-county and supported Bubentsye Seed School by securing government funding for a retaining wall to enhance infrastructure safety.

Motivating Learners and Promoting Excellence: Dr. Magolo has visited numerous schools across the constituency, offering scholastic materials such as mathematical sets and pens to candidates sitting national exams and rewarding students who pass in Division One with mattresses.

Mentorship and Fees Support: He continues to provide career guidance and financial support to needy students to ensure no child is left behind in education.

Administrative Advancement: Dr. Magolo also lobbied for the creation of Wanale District, a move he believes will bring services closer to the people and accelerate localized development.

Unity and Leadership: Throughout his leadership journey, he has emphasized peace, harmony, and cooperation among leaders, choosing collaboration over confrontation for the sake of the constituency’s growth.

“These are not just accomplishments—they are proof of what we can achieve together when we put people first and politics second,” he remarked.

As he looks toward 2026, Hon. Dr. Magolo reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to deepening service delivery and advancing the socio-economic transformation of Bungokho North. His pledges for the next term include:

Deepening community engagement and ensuring accountability in service delivery.

Empowering youth and women through entrepreneurship, vocational training, and access to financial opportunities.

Strengthening health and education infrastructure to enhance access and quality.

Advocating for better road networks, clean water access, and job creation to improve livelihoods.

He urged residents to maintain the unity and shared purpose that have defined their journey so far, emphasizing that the transformation of Bungokho North will only be realized through collective effort.
