UNEB pins four teachers to court over PLE malpractice

KAMPALA - As the Uganda National Examination Board sets to release last year's PLE results on Friday, it continues to punish victims engaged examination malpractice.

Four of the primary school teachers have been remanded to kasangati prisons over Examination Malpractice by the grade one magistrate of Gayaza court.

To mention is Guloba Tito a male aged 25 years and resident of Seeta village Mukono, Kapule Edward a male aged 28 years of Nakukabye village Kampala district, Etwalu Francis a male aged 44 years of Seeta village Mukono and Filbert Ayesiga a male aged 37 of Pakanyi village Masindi district.

According to the grade one magistrate of Gayaza court, Her Worship Beatrice Kayinza on Wednesday, the four were involved in examination malpractices during last year’s primary leaving examinations and all have pleaded not guilty.

" Court has decided to remand them to Kasngati prison up to 21st February 2023," her worship said.

The prosecution alleges that, the four together with other who are still at large, on 8th and 9th November 2023, in Wakiso district, were found possessing the electronic transmission of the examination paper information and material, she indicated.
