The Member of Parliament for Tingey County in Kapchorwa District, Hon. Twalla Fadil, has intensified mobilization efforts within the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), warmly welcoming newly appointed Patriotic Officers following a fresh round of structured assignments by the movement’s leadership.

Hon. Fadil, who doubles as the PLU Coordinator for the Sebei Sub-region and holds the designation of Patriotic Officer 012 (PO 012), extended congratulations to the latest cohort of cadres numbered from PO 021 to PO 040. The assignments were made by the PLU Chairman, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, as part of ongoing efforts to streamline the League’s organizational hierarchy and strengthen grassroots coordination across the country.

In his message, Hon. Fadil emphasized unity, discipline, and collective responsibility among members, calling on the newly appointed officers to embrace their roles with dedication and a shared sense of purpose.

“Congratulations comrades! As PO 012, I welcome you to the family. Let’s mobilize, unite and build Uganda with guidance from our chairman General Muhoozi Kainerugaba. Thank you for God and my country,” he stated.

His remarks reflect the PLU’s broader mission of fostering patriotism, civic responsibility, and national cohesion, particularly among the youth. The structured numbering of Patriotic Officers is seen as a strategic move to enhance coordination, accountability, and identity within the movement’s rapidly expanding base.

Beyond internal party matters, Hon. Fadil also commended Ugandans for their overwhelming participation in the celebrations marking the 52nd birthday of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, held on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The event drew thousands of supporters from across the country and was characterized by high energy, discipline, and a strong display of loyalty.

“Your discipline, your energy, and your love for our General have made this day historic. May God bless you all. Until next year, we keep running for our country,” Hon. Fadil said in appreciation of the turnout.

The birthday celebrations have increasingly evolved into a national mobilization platform, bringing together PLU supporters and sympathizers in a show of unity and shared vision for Uganda’s future.

As a legislator and regional mobilizer, Hon. Twalla Fadil continues to play a pivotal role in advancing the ideals of the Patriotic League of Uganda within Sebei and beyond. His leadership underscores the growing influence of structured civic movements in shaping political engagement and national discourse.

With the continued rollout of organized leadership structures and active grassroots mobilization, the PLU appears poised to deepen its footprint across Uganda, with leaders like Hon. Fadil at the forefront of this expansion.
