Ndejje University Commissions over 1,200 Students for Job Markets in the Forthcoming Graduation.

The management and stakeholders of Ndejje University have confirmed that a total number of over 1,200 of its students are now ready for job markets in Uganda and at international levels.

The news of the confirmation, presented by the University Vice Chancellor Rev. Canon. Prof. Olivia Nassaka Banja on Friday were in presence of the Rt. Rev. Henry Katumba Tamale of Masaka , at kampala campus during the commissioning prayer service as the Reveland dedicated them to the Lord for mercies and blessings.

The Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Information. Hon. Dr. Monica Musenero is expected to preside over the occasion as the Chief Guest.

According to Prof. Nassaka, “the graduation is scheduled for 11 of October next week at the main campus in Bombo district, today we had students’ representatives to participate in the commissioning as a symbolic act of sending them out with God's blessing and praying for them,  guiding them with the word of God that is derived from the gospel, according to St. John, chapter 15, verse 16, to bear fruits that last.”

The message was also shared by the Rev. Henry katumba tamale,  but based on the theme that has run through this semester, students have been emphasized to bear fruit that last, whatever program they are coming from, whether they are from engineering, education, health, science, business, computing and ICT and business, she said.

They have been encouraged to reflect through the life experienced at university, based on the mortal, “ the fear of God brings knowledge and wisdom.” and encouraging them to stand on those values, the precious values, core values of integrity, hard work, fearing God and respecting others, and integrity, added Nassaka.

“We believe that through the time they have e been with us and the time we have e spent keeping them engaging in community and the different practical internship experiences of creativity and innovation, some of them have had, new projects that have inspired them. Some are already doing different businesses and activities practically, also are engaging in different ICT innovations, and also contributing to community in different ways. So we have encouraged them to focus on very much.”
