Gen Z Launch ‘Unstoppable UG’ Campaign to Back Museveni’s 2026 Reelection Bid
The campaign, inspired by the President’s autobiography The Mustard Seed Journey, blends mobilization, entertainment, and storytelling through podcasts, mini-documentaries, and live events. It seeks to capture what organizers describe as “Uganda’s unstoppable journey under the visionary leadership of President Museveni.”
Uganda’s dynamic Generation Z has officially launched a bold and innovative campaign dubbed “Unstoppable UG”, aimed at rallying national support for the re-election of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the upcoming 2026 General Elections.
According to the organizers, Unstoppable UG is “more than a political campaign”. They portray it as a nationwide movement celebrating Uganda’s resilience, progress, and the determination of its people to shape their future. The initiative reflects the narrative of Uganda’s rise — chronicling achievements in peace, infrastructure, education, agriculture, innovation, and youth empowerment.
National Caravan to Kick Off from Nakasero
At the center of the campaign is a national caravan set to roll out on Tuesday, 28th October 2025, from Nakasero. The first leg will cover the Eastern Region, with major stopovers in Mukono, Lugazi, Jinja, Iganga, Mbale, and Soroti before expanding to other parts of the country.
A unique feature of the caravan is the introduction of “Sevo Cafés” — mobile coffee hubs serving Ugandan coffee across the country. These cafés will not only promote Uganda’s coffee culture but also act as interactive centers for Gen Z–moderated podcasts that capture perspectives from youth and elders on Uganda’s journey of peace, stability, and prosperity.
Music, Mentorship, and Youth Involvement
The Unstoppable UG caravan will feature live performances by top Ugandan artists including Bebe Cool and Alien Skin, who will use music and mentorship to inspire youth participation in productive and innovative activities. The entertainment aspect is designed to motivate young people to take advantage of Uganda’s peaceful environment for economic advancement.
Beyond music and coffee, the campaign aims to document and showcase the NRM government’s achievements through short videos, trigger clips, and mini-documentaries highlighting milestones in agriculture, education, infrastructure, and innovation. These productions will present Uganda’s success story from a youthful perspective, emphasizing creativity and storytelling.
Empowering Youth Voices
As part of their outreach, the Gen Z organizers will distribute campaign materials such as helmets and branded t-shirts — items they have produced and financed themselves. These materials will be distributed along the caravan route as a symbol of self-reliance and youth initiative.
The organizers say the Unstoppable UG campaign is meant to complement the mobilization efforts of other structures, including the NRM Secretariat, by amplifying the voices and energy of young Ugandans who believe in continuity and steady progress.
With the 2026 elections approaching, Unstoppable UG symbolizes a new wave of youth-led engagement in Uganda’s political landscape — merging digital innovation, entertainment, and storytelling to communicate the achievements and future aspirations of the country under President Museveni’s leadership.
The campaign underscores how Uganda’s Generation Z is redefining political mobilization — not through traditional rallies alone, but through creative expression, social media influence, and community interaction, making them a formidable force in shaping Uganda’s future.https://x.com/JohnKusolo/status/1982743891595219370?t=Jn9x89mVXFaJ127fJSi3WQ&s=19
